Arta

Arta is located in the northeast of the island of Mallorca, about 60km from the island capital of Palma. More than half of the surface area occupied by Massis d'Arta, the highest and most compact massif of the eastern mountain chains of Serres de Levante.
Population 7113th.

History

Arta was first mentioned in 1232 under the name of the Llibre de Yartân repartiment de Mallorca. This extraordinary landscape was inhabited since the settlement of Mallorca.
